Richmond is home to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), and is only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver via subway, and 20 minutes' drive from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. Many of these hotels are named after the airport, but they are located in Richmond.
Please look up the routes from your chosen hotel to the arena, and plan for rush-hour traffic on Friday.
