Any Female U13, U15, or U18 player wishing to try out for Rep must register with their Home Female Association/Program by no later than July 31st, 2023.
This is in effect for all new and returning players to the Ravens.
A player movement request submitted by a player who fails to register with their residential Female Association/program by July 31st shall not be considered.
The following exemptions to the registration requirement shall apply:
1. If the player is making a residential move from a non-PCAHA Association after August 1st, 2023
2. If the player that has been released from an above-minor program/team after August 15th, 2023
3. If the player’s residential Female Association/program has declared, prior to July 31st, 2023, that they shall not be offering an HC-Carded (“A”) team in the player’s division
Player movement from an Integrated Association to a Female Association within the same residential boundary is not affected by this rule change.
TRY OUT PROCESS
Tryouts will be held the first week of September. Tryout fees must be received by August 31 of the current season or the player will not be allowed to try out. Tryout fees are non-refundable.
Appeals: Players who wish to appeal the tryout results must submit a letter explaining the reason for the appeal within 24 hours of notification of assigned team including the $150 appeal processing fee. The $150 payment must be sent via e-transfer to email@example.com (noting “Tryouts Appeal – [Player Name]” in the notes/comment section) and explanation letter must be sent via email to Milan Dragicevic, Director of Hockey Development and Don Gillanders, President before an appeal will be considered. Appeal fees are non-refundable.
Players who are not registered for the Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Association and want to tryout for rep will submit a preliminary tryout notice (requested from the player’s home association) and register as directed on TeamSnap.
Ravens players should register and pay for the tryout fees during initial registration.
** Tryout fees are due before the first ice time. Players are not allowed to participate in any team practice / games until the fees are paid.
TRY-OUT AND REP PROGRAM
All Ravens registration fees are paid through TeamSnap’s online registration payment site using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or Visa Debit/Mastercard Debit.
E-transfer accepted for the payment of Tryout and Registration Fees. Please e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org and make a note in the comments to include player name, division, and what the fees are for.
