Skills Accelerator

The Richmond Ravens offer an extra skill development program for players that want an extra ice time each week. 

Accelerator sessions will focus on power skating, shooting, position-specific skills, puck handling, passing, and game play awareness.

THE COACHES

Our Director of Hockey Operations, Milan Dragicevic, runs most of our skills sessions and we also provide other skill-specific guest coaches throughout the season. For example, Mike Basford, Matt Leduc provide power skating for many of our Monday skills accelerator sessions.

THE PLAYERS

Skills accelerator is open to all U15, U13, U11 and U9 players but is limited to 20 skaters per group.

U9 & U11 SCHEDULE

For the first half of the season:

  • Wednesdays from September-December
  • 3:30pm at Richmond Ice Centre
  • Cost: approximately $350

For the second half of the season:

  • Wednesdays from January-March
  • 3:30pm at Richmond Ice Centre
  • Cost: approximately $250

U13 & U15 SCHEDULE

For the first half of the season:

  • Mondays from September-December
  • 3:45pm at Richmond Ice Centre
  • Cost: approximately $350

For the second half of the season:

  • Mondays from January-March
  • 3:45pm at Richmond Ice Centre
  • Cost: approximately $250
