When one of our family members is sick or needs help, we respond. The Ravens Family is no different - we care about our people.
The May families have been long time supporters and participants of the Richmond Ravens. Cousins, sisters, aunts and uncles - and cheering grandparents too! So, when one of the youngest Mays, Morgan, daughter of Kelly and Kyle May, couldn’t start hockey as part of the Ravens Family, the Ravens took notice.
Morgan has been diagnosed with Leukemia and has been receiving regular and intensive care through BC Children’s Hospital. Morgan is an extremely brave and determined young girl and is facing this challenge with spirit and courage - Fine characteristics of a Ravens hockey player.
To further show our Ravens Family support to Morgan and her family, all teams will be provided with pink hockey tape, and we ask that you wrap your stick in pink, for Morgan. Let’s take her courage and spirit and put it on the ice!
On January 16th at 6 pm, Igloo Rink, Morgan will be at the rink with her family and would like to take a group photo with as many Ravens players as possible. Please join us, with your jerseys, helmets, skates, and of course your stick wrapped in pink.
To the May family from the Ravens, you have our love and support, and we share your hope and faith on Morgan’s Brave Journey. ❤
